About me and Frisbee

Hello and thank you for taking a minute or two to visit our site and read about me, (Mom Lindy), and my little girl Westie Frisbee.

We live in Fort Bragg, CA, (USA), with my husband Dave, our other sweet, sweet special girl Pickie and one cat Mr. Kitty in the Country.

I worked in the Insurance business for 30 years when I had to leave the work I loved when I became very ill 7 years ago.

Our one little dog had died during the time I became ill and it was even more depressing to me without her here with us.

We looked and looked in the local shelters, made calls but just couldn't find the one dog we were looking for.

Then one day my husband told me that because I was ill and we had lost our Joey that his Cousin's decided to buy me a puppy for a much needed companion, to hopefully help me get better.

My husband and I went to pick up the puppy, (here in Fort Bragg), at a now close friend's house.

When we went in I saw 4 older dogs and 6 little white fur balls running around and playing.

Grandma Lannie picked up the one little puppy with a pink bow in her hair and said, "Here she is."

I immediately fell in love! Love at first sight! This little bundle of white was in my hands and she was mine.  I rolled her over on her little back and started rubbing her little tummy and she just loved it...on that day and still now..she loves her tummy rubs!

We took this little bundle of white joy home to meet her sissy Pickie and they have been best friends ever since.

Frisbee is now 5 years old and quite the little lady but she loves walks with me and her sissy, looking for Gophers and digging for them, sniffing and barking at the nightly Raccoon on the back sun room, chasing the neighbors cats, (every chance she gets!), cookie treats from Mom, bath days with Mom and giving licky kisses to all.

The Westie breed all seem to look the same, have the same personality, same Westie attitude, (a big one at times!) and all have the same big, caring, kind, loving heart that makes the breed wonderful!

This little bundle of white joy filled my heart with joy and love and helped me learn and feel better. I'll never be 100%, able to go back to work but I have my little girl, her sweet, sweet, special sissy Pickie and my Husband.

They say everything that happens has a purpose and I truly believe this because this little girl was the last puppy Lannie had and she actually had already given her to a lady in town but the lady brought her back....back for me to become a member of our family where she has a loving, caring forever home. God does work in mysterious ways....

I wish other humans could give a Westie, (or any other breed of dog in need), a loving, caring forever home too becuase there are so many out there without a loving, caring forever home.
